Segun Masha is an Apostle of Jesus Christ, a business consultant, a preacher, community leader, a certified financial instructor and author. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry in 1985, after which he trained and served in the capital market/investment banking sector for 5 years before beginning his career as a preacher and community leader in the United States in 1994.
Masha founded Marketplace Missions, Inc. in 1995, and for the past 22 years, Masha and his team have served nationally and internationally, ordaining ministers and facilitating churches/ministries, as well as empowering communities through prayers, food, clothing, values skills, social services, leadership programs, values education and more.
Shade Masha, affectionately known as Pastor Shade, graduated from the University of Lagos with a Master Degree in International Law and Diplomacy in 1987. Pastor Shade journeyed to Atlanta where she met her now husband Apostle Segun Masha while serving together in the ministry. They have been married for 17 wonderful years and are blessed with many children.
Pastor Shade is an ordained minister actively demonstrating her love and compassion to the community by facilitating churches/ministries, as well as empowering communities through prayers, food, clothing, values skills, social services, leadership programs & values education. She serves as a Director of Marketplace Missions.
Michael graduated from Asbury University in 1984 with a B.A. degree in English Literature. He received his M.Div. in Missions and Evangelism from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1989. He also received his Masters in Theology from University of Ghana in 2013. He is an ordained United Methodist minister in the North Georgia Conference. He and his wife Claire and three children served as missionaries with The Mission Society from 1999 to 2010 in Ghana.
Upon returning to the States in 2010, he served as the Senior Director of International Mobilization for The Mission Society for two years. In the Spring of 2013, God led Michael to begin a new ministry called Catalyst for Africa, that specifically focuses on mentoring African leaders.
Katrina Moultrie graduated from Clemson University in 2005 with a B.S. Degree in Sports Management and a Minor is Business Administration. She received her certification in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia in 2018. She has worked in Corporate America for over 10 years as a Corporate Trainer and Senior Analyst. She formerly served as Business Diretor for Marketplace Missions where she was responsible for the oversight of all operations for the organization.
In 2015 she made her transition into the Financial Services industry as a Financial Advisor and Consultant for both individuals and businesses. She is currently pursuing her CFP Certification and currently serves as CFO of Marketplace Missions.
Destiny is a sophomore at Georgia State University based in Atlanta. She has been privileged to engage in numerous community service activities including but not limited to mission trips within the United States and also overseas.
During her downtime, she enjoys journaling, contemporary dance, art, and music. With a pre-med track, she hopes to take the skills and education of medical school to the nations, and impact the public health system for Christ.
Chelsea Hurst has a heart for those to seek Truth. This is why she spends a lot of her time writing and editing writings about Christ and the workings of the Holy Spirit, and she loves any way to express creativity. Through videos, podcasts, or speaking... There is a love for the arts and for others to come to know Christ through those mediums. She enjoys spending time with her husband in her down times watching movies, going to CrossFit, or looking at dog videos for hours on end.
