Community Outreach
Marketplace Missions began with a heart for outreach, and as much as we have grown, we have never swayed from our first passion.
Through the years, we have facilitated mass food distribution programs, toy and supply distribution programs, education scholarship programs, and even job search/job readiness training.
Out outreach initiatives have spanned 2 continents, and served tens of thousands of individuals.
- 1.8 million pounds of food distributed
- 15,000 families served
- 5,000 children blessed in Toy For Tots partnership
- 1,000 students school & testing fees sponsored
Education & Youth Development
At Marketplace Missions, we believe that education is the foundation for empowering the next generation. In Nigeria, many youth face barriers to education due to financial constraints, leaving them out of school. To address this, Marketplace Missions launched an outreach program last year that provided scholarships to 1,000 young people in the FCT region, helping them cover school and test fees.
We are committed to expanding our impact by creating more opportunities and enrichment activities for students, ensuring they are prepared to lead in the social, economic, and political sectors in the future. We’re excited to continue making a difference and helping the youth of Nigeria achieve their full potential.

We are also presently in the process of creating a robust online curriculum known as "Values College: Education, Beyond Academics". This curriculum will be available globally and will aim to train up young people in character, integrity and faith so they can effectively lead and make positive impact within their communities.
Mental Health
We know how important the wholistic wellbeing of every individual is. Mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health are key for every person to truly walk in the fullness of their potential, and to effectuate change in the world around them. That is why Dr. Segun Masha sits on the Board for The Hope Booth, a non-profit taking initiative in the mental health space in innovate and practical ways.
Marketplace Missions stands in partnership with The Hope Booth and regularly collaborates with the Hope Booth team to continue finding unique and impactful ways to address the global mental health crisis, as well as bring about lasting impact that shifts the trajectory of mental wellbeing for the rising generations.

Public & Private Sector Partnerships
We have had the privilege, through the years, to build and maintain multiple partnerships with government entities, medical doctors, and corporations within in the United States and in Nigeria. These key relationships have enabled us to reach further and wider than we could alone.
As we aim to empower and equip others to positively impact the social, economic and political sectors around them, we are proud that we can effectively display that type of impact by connecting with such entities in our own labors, as well.
In the image to the left you can see a letter of commendation received from Councilman Clarence T. Martin of the City of Atlanta. Our partnership with the city government for this particular event enabled us to serve over 600 children and families in need.
Other governmental, health and education partnerships include work with SMEDAN (Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria), the Secondary Education Board in Abuja, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, as well as Family Dental Care in Nigeria.
Additionally, we have had 40+ corporations partner to support our initiatives, including Toys For Tots, United Way, Hyatt Hotels, UHAUL, Univision, Covenant Transport and more.
Economic Empowerment for Women & Youth
In many cultures around the world, women and children are often marginalized and underserved. We have labored to meet the needs these groups through various means, including sponsoring small business start-up funds for Nigerian women. We also facilitated an International Menstrual Hygiene Day Outreach in FCT Abuja, Nigeria.
